Outward code pages
Each postcode area page (for example /schools-near/m20) lists schools in that outward code from official GIAS data. These pages are useful for browsing an area without sharing your exact address.

Full postcode and distance
Enter a full postcode to estimate distances from nearby school coordinates (converted from GIAS easting/northing). Distances are approximate and are not walking or catchment guarantees.
You can also use “Use my location” on the homepage to search schools near your current position.

Add nearby schools to compare
On near-me and postcode result lists, use “Add closest” to put the nearest schools on your shortlist, then open Compare to see Ofsted, performance and absence side by side.
